 PCS and Military Move Resources

As a former military spouse, I know first-hand how overwhelming it can be to have to move to a different base every few years. I've compiled this list of resources to help you with your move and hopefully help answer as many questions as possible. But if you still have questions, feel free to reach out to me directly.

This is a great site to start your PCS move. Here you will find links to tutorials, planning and scheduling your move and even what to do after your move. Whatever your questions, Move.mil will be the most reliable resource to get most of your move questions answered.

AHRN is a great resource for finding housing. Whether you're looking to buy a new home in your new location or trying to find a rental, AHRN can help you find homes in the area with the added benefit of helping you find additional military resources as well.  You can even find military-friendly real estate agents and VA lenders through AHRN's site.

Military One Source is a one-stop shop for all things military life. If you have questions about your retirement, MOS has the answer. If you have questions about how to use your BAH to buy a house, or about your special needs child in your new base, MOS will have those answers, too. So, if there's a question that you need answers to, MOS should be the FIRST place you go.

Click on the MOVING & HOUSING tab from the drop down menu to find links to help you with your move.

Click on FAMILY & RELATIONSHIPS to find more information about taking care of your special needs family members and what other resources are available to you.
